Nalanda English Medium School *celebrated the 79th Independence Day* on 15th August 2025 Wednesday with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The program began with a prayer, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony in the presence of Governing council members *Dr. Viswas Pai* and *Mr. Nagraj Pai, our Headmistress Mrs. Savitha Kamath* , and our PTA President *Mrs. Bhagya Shet and Secretary Mrs. Kavya Bhat. This was followed by the singing of the *National Anthem and* the *Dwaja Geethe*
Prizes were distributed for drawing competition. Students presented speeches.
The highlight of the event was the cultural program by our students. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to all students, parents and staff.
