Madam Vidya B popularly known amongst the students, parents and her Colleagues as Vidya Miss was given a warm send off on her retirement from the service after nearly 30 years of teaching thousands of students. “Whenever there is an alumni Meet the most spoken about person in the Institution is Vidya Miss. Both the students and the management of the Institution will be missing her” honorary Secretary of the Institution Prof. Dr. Kasturi Mohan Pai said in his touching send off speech. President B. R. Shenoy and past President Pundit M. Surendra Acharya felicitated her with flowers, fruit bowl and appreciation letter.
Two Principals, Savitha Kamath and Sashikala B and all the faculties of NEMS and student representatives were present on the occasion.
